The Scottish Wildlife Trust is partnering with Stromness Museum to produce a new snorkel trail for Orkney. It will add to the portfolio of 10 snorkel trails the length and breadth of Scotland.

The aim will be to encourage visitors and locals to enjoy the wellbeing benefits of visiting Orkney’s marine sites. It’s also hoped that snorkelers will become advocates for protecting the local wildlife of our seas.

The two organisations are looking for input from marine enthusiasts around Orkney to suggest potential sites for the trail.

There is an in-person event to refine the trail during the Orkney Nature Festival on Saturday 18th May at 7pm at Stromness Museum.
