Come for a walk through this moorland reserve and along the Scapa Flow coastline. Time: 9.30am. Warness Guided Walk, Eday

 A free guided walk round Warness Point, up the hill to Ward Hill and back. Hoping to spot seabirds returning to the cliffs as well as a raptor or two. The walk is 2 miles long, the terrain is rough and uneven but the pace will be gentle so we have time to look at everything and chat on the way. Please wear suitable clothes and footwear. Meet at 11am at Warness footpath carpark.

Come for a walk in a hidden wood and discover which birds are making their homes in the trees! Meet: St Olav’s Wood, South Ronaldsay. Time: 2.00-4.00pm. Orkney RSPB Wildlife Explorers is aimed at children aged 8 to 12. Younger children are welcome as long as a responsible adult stays with them.

Join the RSPB at this wetland reserve which can host a variety of wildfowl and waders. There may be the chance of singing sedge warbler, reed bunting and the odd scream from the elusive water rail. Hunting hen harrier and short eared owls are a possibility. Come along anytime between 9.30am and 12.30pm
