Primula Scotica We saw these amazing little flowers at Yesnaby, on the mainland...They can be found not far from the car park. turn left and walk until the deep tracks end on the footpath...there will be a headland on your right and a farmhouse on your left , go towards the farmhouse, but it will still be in the distance, they grow where the turf is very close cropped.... We also found them when we walked left along the coast from the car park towards a broch, when you start, about 7/8 mins this time, these ones were in lovely condition, you will gradually gain height along the path then as you walk down hill again they are growing towards the foot of the hill, all the best and I hope this information is not to late. |
