The Quernstone is situated in the heart of the historic town of Stromness. The shop extends over two floors, with a huge range of wares. Downstairs, we have lots and lots for children, plus small gifts and stationery, jewellery and kitchenware. We are also known for a wide choice of knitting yarns and patterns and household accessories. In the calm of our upstairs room, there is space for rugs and throws, lamps and shades, cushions and oil cloth. We also love having pieces of unusual furniture and mirrors. We hope our shop refects our love of quality, design and individuality.
