Sties is a two bedroom cottage on Eday built in traditional red sandstone.

It has recently been extended, also using red sandstone to preserve its character, and completely renovated to a high standard. Sties has a three star rating from the Scottish Tourist Board. It is in a secluded location at the end of its own private road and is surrounded by a large walled garden. It is close to the sea and the ferry terminal, and enjoys panoramic views across neighbouring islands.

The accommodation consists of:

Lounge - Open plan with the kitchen/dining area centred around a traditional fireplace. It is equipped with TV and DVD. It also has a traditional music centre with CD player and turntable. There is a small selection for vinyl LPs.

Kitchen - Well equipped with fridge, freezer, cooker, toaster and electric kettle as well has a full range of pots, pans, crockery and cooking utensils. There is also a dishwasher and washing machine. A tumble dryer is available in an external shed.

Conservatory - Views over neighbouring islands to the south and east. Relax here and watch the boats go by.

Master Bedroom - In the original part of the cottage with fireplace and traditional furniture. There is a queen-sized bed.

Second Bedroom - In a modern style and has a double bed and a single bed. There is also a TV.

Bathroom - With bath and separate shower unit.
