Situated on the hillside providing a quiet and safe retreat for the ideal family holiday.

Rowan Cottage is in a great location for visiting the sights of Orkney including Skara Brae, Maeshowe, and the Ring of Brodgar. The village of Finstown is situated midway between the towns of Stromness and Kirkwall (7 miles) and is the cross roads for the country bus services.

For all fishermen, cyclists, outdoor adventurers, bird watchers - there is a shed that would be suitable for storing fishing rods/waders/wet weather gear/canoes etc.

Accommodation consists of two bedrooms, one double bed and one single. Large open plan kitchen and lounge area. Bathroom facilities with shower only. The cottage is electrically heated with storage heaters and individual heaters in all rooms.

We have wooden decking at the front of cottage with seating so on a nice evening you can sit out and enjoy the view. A welcome pack is provided for guests including local bread, milk and biscuits. There is a village shop, post office, garage with fuel services in Finstown. Short breaks are available during the off-peak season. Non Smoking establishment, sorry no pets.
