The Sanday Ranger arranges a series of events throughout the year, with an emphasis on the summer months.
Sanday's resident ranger is there to help you enjoy the wonderful wildlife and the make the most of your time on Sanday. Throughout the year, the Ranger organises a wide range of events, guided walks, workshops and activities. These events aim to show off as much wildlife as possible, whilst educating and increasing awareness of important issues relating to wildlife and conservation on Sanday and Orkney.
Sanday has a network of footpaths which make exploring easy without causing disturbance to ground-nesting birds; these paths take in a full range of habitats and wildlife points of interest, as well as major archaeological sites of interest.
Emma Webb, the ranger, is able to tailor activities to your group's needs, particularly at quieter times of the year. For any enquiries, bookings, information or to discuss a visit, please get in touch either by email or phone.
The Sanday Ranger is jointly funded by Sanday Development Trust and Scottish Natural History.
